Update #2: Thank You for your Support!!
Dear Qi Xi Supporters:
Thank you very much for backing Qi Xi: A Chinese Love Story through our kickstarter project! Through your generous support, we were able to successfully present our August 22 production in Chicago's Millennium Park. Preliminary photographs have been posted at www.chinesefinearts.org, with more to come, and links to wonderful coverage of the event by NBC-5, the Chicago Tribune, and Timeout are also available. While at the site, we hope that you will sign up for our mailing list so that you can receive updates about our future programs. Thank you again for your support!
Best regards,

Thank you once again for your generous pledge to our free spectacle which will take place this Sunday, August 22 at 2:30 at Millennium Park. We are busy with rehearsals and final preparations for the big day.
Some exciting updates:
-Last Sunday we had a successful preview event with our new collaborative partner, the Adler Planetarium.
-The Chicago Tribune was at our onsite rehearsal and the article will be in the Tribune's Sunday Magazine this week.
-Here is the clip from our QiXi segment on NBC 5 last Saturday morning.
-Raffle tickets are still available for round trip air transportation to Beijing or Shanghai for two courtesy of American Airlines. Secure yours now by calling 312-369-3197. TIckets are $10 or 3 for $25.
-Tickets are on-sale for our fun, family friendly QiXi After party at the Chicago Cultural Center featuring Dim Sum and other goodies. Advance tickets are $7-$12 and can be purchased at the CFAS Online Store.
Finally, please pass the information about this project to friends and family. As of this posting, we only need $655 dollars to make our goal. Help us to make it happen!
