We have new songs for the world, we need your help to reach Pandora.Com the internet radio station.
Pandora requires that a band releases an album on a physical CD with a UPC code in order to be played on their radio stations. We really need your love (and your cash) to reach Pandora. With your help, we will get there, and you will be a part of the magic.
Our new album is titled "13 Ways The World May End Tomorrow". It is a concept album with all songs contributing to a single overall theme or unified story. The story? The album name says it all.. the album is about all the ways the world may end at any moment, but never seems to do, at least not yet, and with the theme of the year 2012 (not that there is a Mayan prophecy, as people who keep up with history and science know the Mayans never claimed the world will end in 2012). We would like to honor and mock the year 2012 with this new album. Each song title is another way the world may end. Each song focuses on that possibility. We would really like to release the album in 2012, before Dec 21st, 2012.
THEOKRATS are based out of San Diego, CA and Los Angeles, CA and currently have their debut album "Blasphemers" selling on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, and 30 other music retail websites online. They were formed in 2005 in St. Louis, MO and their very first show was opening for "The Dresden Dolls" at the Pageant Club in St. Louis for an audience of 3,000 people (sold out show). in 2006, Theokrats moved to Seattle, Washington, where they finished recording their debut album. in 2010, THEOKRATS moved to Southern California so that the front man, P.J. Corvus could be closer to the heart of the Motion Picture Industry in Los Angeles. The band is currently in the recording studio recording tracks for their 2nd album "13 ways the world may end tomorrow" which will be released before December 21, 2012. The album's theme is mocking the many many numerous times that people hvae proclaimed that the "end is near" and how every time these end times pass without incident. The album also is themed around numerous conspiracy theories relating to "The Illuminati", "The Denver Airport", "The New World Order", the "HAARP Conspiracy", and others. The name THEOKRATS is the German spelling of the word Theocrats. Theocrats are historically leaders, or dictators, who were also considered the religious leaders as well. An example of this would be the Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt.
