About this project
We are already in the process of shooting a documentary about the national gay flag football league and their Superbowl tournament played once a year to crown a national champion. 10 years ago, a national gay football league was formed (http://ngffl.com/) and has been building forward ever since. There are teams in over 21 cities and in New York alone, there is a 14 team, 160 player league that plays a fall and spring season every year. The national super bowl draws the best players from all the leagues around the country. The Superbowls are events, but they're also a very serious competition played by guys ranging from former NFL and college football players, to great athletes from other sports that were intimidated to play football growing up because of the culture it breeds. For some, it's a profound healing. For others, it's a great release and a wonderfully run organization that builds the same kind of personal and team growth that sports are known for, just with more flare and color.
We've been following 4 teams since they began their team selection and practices for the tournament 3 months ago. We will be following them through the tournament and for a period of time afterwards. We're looking to raise finishing funds so that we can keep the post production, editing and festival submission process moving smoothly. We believe in the powerful and inspiring message this film will offer and we are committed to getting it out as soon as possible. Any and all allies are greatly appreciated in this.

A graduate of UCLA's school of Theatre Film and Television, Seth would be the first to tell you he's lived a theatrical life. Growing up at the heart of New York's musical theatre scene, he was bitten early on trips to the theatre with his father. He has worked in every aspect of show business since, from usher to actor to director. Among his favorite highlights were producing his first feature film at 22, acting with George C. Scott in the off-Broadway hit "Wrong Turn at Lungfish", and producing "9 to 5 the Musical" on Broadway with Dolly Parton. He heads GFour Production's New York office and is the company's Vice President of Theatrical Development. Seth is also the National Director of "Menopause the Musical", seen by over 11 million people worldwide, and is one of the Chairmen and founding members of the Broadway Green Alliance (broadwaygreen.com), an organization committed to the greening of The Great White Way. His collective shows have been nominated for 17 Drama Desk Awards, 7 Tonys and 1 Grammy.
