  Maybe I should make a Kickstarter and scam $23,000 from people I don't know. Seems like a good way to make money.

  it's no surprise it's taking so long, "Will be spending another full day on it this week though." he says that as if it's a lot of time, and well considering he most definitely ran out of money ages ago, he must not have actually planned out how long this would take. at this point even if he gives us another alpha, that's 8 months between them! and we aren't even in beta, so by the time this game is DONE (if ever) i wonder who will be president?

  Well everyone, we got scammed. no game, no updates. well, there are supposed talk of updates, but nothing to show of gameplay. i no longer care about this game, i just want this guy to never be allowed to screw over people again.

  i have lost all faith in this project, another kickstarter i donated 100$ to raised 50k and that will only last them 5 months. so i don't know how this 20k could possibly last him almost 2 years...

  look in the comments section of the last update and you'll notice a few days ago he commented- "There's a new version a'coming... Distant terrain rendering is much improved, and the whole thing runs faster now. Rag doll stuff too... There's still some more piddling to do -- but gonna try to get it out by either the 17th or 24th."

  Yeah, I don't mind the loss of $10. It's just that I feel betrayed. We supported this complete stranger in following through on something he was passionate about and then he just turned his back. Send a thank you card... an email.... a doodle... whatever.

  one thing to think about, is this is not the only game of its kind, in fact minecraft is making massive leaps and bounds in their capabilities as well. As much as we all respect the take your time thing, we need to remember a big perk to LoU is its hitting the early stages of a game of this style. so patients being a virtue aside, good luck with the progress I cant wait.

  Most likely a false positive, but you still might want to check that out.

  I love the progress, Aaron. Some people might not realize what an insane thing you are doing with Uberdark, but I do! Keep up the excellent progress. The game is leaps and bounds better every time I play.

  Oh come on. I have played many other games where the developer NEVER talks to his community unless there is something to report.
  Dead Frontier being a prime example of this. Neil Yates hasn't told us anything to do with development since December last year at least. Every few weeks he might add a 'X' Holiday special item but no info on what else he has done.
  Aaron seems no different to Neil on this matter but I have equal respect and faith in both of them.

  You're right. I am sorry. It's only been 42 days without any word from Aaron. I'm sure he is just working so hard that he can't spare 10 seconds to say, "Hey, everything is going fine. I hope to have the next update out soon". I'm glad you have blind faith in Aaron and LoU's future. Hopefully it's well-founded.

  Would just like to commend Aaron for making such great progress through the game's development, especially under so much pressure to deliver, The expectations for this game are high and your advancement towards fulfilling these expectations has been swifter than I imagined. Well done, you're doing a great job. Keep the updates coming and make me a proud backer :)

  After seeing some of the comments, I would like some of you to consider the following.
  If you know what Minecraft is, you probably know Notch.
  Notch is a transparent guy. He posts everything he is doing on Twitter.
  He gets loads of grief all around for the time he is on vacation.
  It's probably in Aaron's better interests to not share every bit of headway as soon as its done, as he will get less grief if say he did a load one week and took a load off another.
  
  Also, I got my shirt a few days ago. It's very cool!
