Directors Christoph Green and Brendan Canty are the founders of Trixie Film (www.trixiefilm.com), a Washington DC based production company. They have produced a long list of music-related films for artists such as Pearl Jam, Death Cab for Cutie, The Decemberists, The Shins and Wilco. Most recently, they have released Water on the Road; Eddie Vedder Live (2011). In 2009 they released the award-winning film “Ashes of American Flags” which played in theaters across the United States and in Europe. Trixie also continues to produce the critically acclaimed Burn to Shine series which documents American local music scenes.
I am so glad this was backed! Please do keep us updated with photos! I am doing a much simpler yet related project digital story telling project here in Richmond, VA with people reentering the community from incarceration, most are homeless and struggling. I will be sharing your updates with them as well.

It's exciting that you're getting close to your goal. This is an important project, not only to raise public awareness, but to raise awareness among human services employees around the country that people who have experienced homelessness and have significant barriers CAN and DO work successfully if they have access to the proper supports.
