Hello Everyone!

In December The Rex Complex recorded some fresh new material that we’re really excited about and want to share with you!
We have a strong vision and feel that our music is worthy of international attention, but we realize no one’s going to come along and hand us a golden ticket. We have to put the work in ourselves, which is why we’ve booked a three-week tour in March spanning from Maine to Texas. (We’ll be touring with “Railbird,” an amazing band we’re excited to be sharing the road with).
Jeremy and I have been saving and working extremely hard to make this tour a reality, but the truth is if we don’t raise the money we won’t be able to go. We need you, fans, family, and friends to help us reach our goal so we can share our music and live show with more people!
Your support will go directly into paying for travel expenses for the tour, food, and for downloadable music cards of new songs by The Rex Complex.

THE BUDGET:

1. Our van averages 14 miles to the gallon. 
$3 per gallon. Traveling - 6000 miles. The total amount of gas and tolls is $1400.

Since we’re splitting these costs with Railbird, gas and tolls = $700

2. Jeremy and I will get $15 a day for food, 26 days on the road = $780

3. For 26 nights we’ll mostly be crashing on floors, but a few nights we’ll need to check into motels. At $40 a night, 4 nights = $160

4. Downloadable music cards of new songs by The Rex Complex cost $0.34 per card not including tax and shipping…..we’re ordering 1,000 of these = $400

Our total budget comes to $2,040.

This is our proposed budget, but because of the cost of rent while we’re gone and the endless hours of work that we put into the music, we actually hope to exceed our goal. Of course, any amount you can contribute is helpful! So that’s the deal. We truly can’t do this without YOU who support our art.
