   8:15 starts in the suburbs just outside of Denver, Colorado.  At exactly 8:15pm GMT drug store employee and zombie enthusiast, Drew, experiences the same thing as billions of others around the world. A sudden and violent zombie apocalypse.  Drew, his coworkers and the customers that happen to be in the store at the time must work together to survive when billions of others have not.

    Do not be confused by the video.  8:15 will be a graphic novel, not a motion picture of any kind.  The video is there to show off the talent of the 8:15 artist, Joe Badon.  Since many of the rewards include having you drawn into the story, I wanted to show how great Joe is at translating photos into drawings.

     Since 2008 Ryan Wise and Nick Brooks have been creating the world of 8:15.  The story evolved from our pass time to a finished story in early 2011.  Since then we have been trying to raise the funds necessary to turn the story into a series of epic graphic novels.  We need to raise money to have the novel illustrated and to have hard copies printed, but what we really want from this fundraising campaign is to find a community to help support the whole 8:15 series.

    Fans of the genre will love our new interpretation of the zombie.  The fungal infection initially slows down neural activity significantly.  This produces a pretty standard walker.  But as the fungi spreads and matures the infected individual becomes more then the survivors can handle.  Some treatments have been found, but they are not effective enough to help those already turned.
