While grieving over his missing son, a father unravels the dark secrets behind the urban legend of the child killer Mr. Quiet.
Mr. Quiet is about the horrors a father discovers when he finds out the truth behind his son's disappearance. There are cabals at work in the dark and none have our well-being in mind.
I wish to create a meta-story that goes beyond the video - a story told by the characters through Twitter, wikis, blogs, Facebook. There will be clues that lead to documents stored in the cloud, research conducted by the government think-tank called the Indigo league, myths dating back hundreds of years about the being known as Mr. Quiet.
Of course, this will enrich your enjoyment of the Mr. Quiet video, but not be necessary as the video will be a solid story with beginning/middle/end. Everything else is icing on the cake.
The budget I'm asking for will allow me to use the best tools and people available. I really want to bring you a story that will scare the pants off you. My driving goal is to play fair with you when you give me your valuable time. I want to give you the chills you deserve and this budget will let me do that. Mr. Quiet isn't a cheap shocker, but a well-developed scare. No cheap gore or strong promise/no payoff. Mr. Quiet will leave you wanting more and I have more of his story to tell.
This will be shot as a 30 minute “Found Footage" type film similar to Paranormal Activity or Chernobyl Diaries.
Production
Aside from small payments to the actors (besides myself), all of the contributions will go toward production and Rewards. We need better equipment to work with and your generous help will get us there. Sound is a key element and poor recordings are a distraction, I don't want any hisses or pops to pull you from the moment when Mr. Quiet slinks onto the screen.
We will be shooting on a very tight and highly structured schedule in order to minimize costs. Maintaining this schedule is easier with functioning and professional equipment.
Every single penny we can squeeze out will go on-screen.

He has been sighted wearing a black suit, white skin, no hair, and red eyes that glow at times. However, the sighting over the last twenty years cite that Mr. Quiet wears a burlap mask with the eyes and mouth sewn shut with red thread. No one knows why,

He has been known to whisper to those around his victims and holds his conversations through intermediaries. Sometimes, Mr. Quiet drives his victims mad and forces them to commit heinous crimes

The Indigo League is an Ultraviolet clearance level government think-tank begun in the 30's to deal with the esoteric threats to the United States.
The Tampa cell encountered Mr. Quiet after the collapse of the Skyway bridge in 83. Rumor has it that they imprisoned him (in a way) before the cell disappeared. No one has heard from them since.

The location is beautiful and the flipside of the darkness hidden behind the facade we will reveal in Mr. Quiet. The city is filled with good people who will face many strange and dangerous trials over the next few years.
