I'm backing this group because I'm a lover of hip hop and remember the days of the true female MC. I shouldn't have to look underground and discover them. I want to hear and see them on my radio on television. Thank God for stations like WRFG. The word is spreading.

@john-thank you/medase/asante. our lyrical content is absolutely uncompromised for we are expressing our perspectives from each of our individual points of view. we all spit/rhyme unapologeticaly, with feeling, with spirit, love, and with fire. we speak our truth, whatever that may be. we are not manufactured. we don't have ghostwriters. we are true and living in the flesh and we love our people and our music. this can never be compromised. i apprecilove you even asking the question because too many of our artists are not held accountable to this sacred thing called hiphop.

@ymani-ye nni ase da(sp?). that's exactly what we are looking to do-provide an alternative to the record industry's projection of stereotypes, negativity, and plastic images onto us. we, the mothers,sisters,wives,warriors,nurturers,seers,and protectors will reinstate the art of hiphop to its rightful throne. Tenisio of WRFG sent me this link so i donated based on his referral and what i saw in the video primer here. I know things are hard everywhere and you were lucky today! Also since i'm in the liner notes if or when this project develops i'd like to know what politico/Economic lyrical content messages may get delivered! When i was backstage with Erykah Feb 18th, 2008 prior to her NuAmErykah Pt 1 WW4 LP release i just told her please don't compromise on the politiks! She followed thru likely regardless of me but we live in an interesting time of this moment! So Express it!

No offense but this looks like a scam. 6 people involved with this project (the producer and 5 emcees) and y'all are asking people to donate money to something that's just gonna get downloaded when it's done. I'm a supporter for real but asking for money before it's done when y'all decided to do as a collective group seems a bit goofy. Good luck on meeting your goal. If it gets completed and it's dope then, I'll put my money into it by buying a finished product. Sol Messiah and Boog Brown are dope. I don't know the other ladies so I gotta hear more from them.
