ARCHIVAL DIGITAL FINE ART PRINT by Jill Furmanovsky. This photo of Pink Floyd is in the recording studio Abbey Road during the sessions for WISH YOU WERE HERE (Jill believes it was specifically for WELCOME TO THE MACHINE as many shots also include Roy Harper) and this image has David Gilmour casually laying atop the mixing desk, Roger Waters and Rick Wright in conversation, and Nick Mason reading some type of handbill. A legendary band in a legendary studio making a legendary album, this photograph is a rare and intimate glimpse of Pink Floyd making the follow up record to the massively successful DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. ADDITIONALLY, donors at this level will receive a signed copy of THE MOMENT, Jill’s collection of rock photography from 1970-1995. This book is rare and nearly out of print and you get both for YOUR PLEDGE. Prints are on Hahnemühle paper - image size @ 16.5” x 11.7” PLUS ”SPECIAL THANKS” in film credits

Born in Los Angeles, Roddy Bogawa studied art and played in punk bands before turning to filmmaking. He received his MFA degree from the University of California at San Diego and moved to New York Shitty to attend the Whitney Independent Study Program. His features, SOME DIVINE WIND, JUNK, and I WAS BORN, BUT… have screened in dozens of film festivals, gallery and museum venues including the Sundance Film Festival (Dramatic Competition), the Mannheim International Film Festival (Germany), the Asian American International Film Festival (New York), the Hawaii International Film Festival, and the Fukuoka Asian Film Festival (Japan), Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, and the 1993 Biennial Exhibition of the Whitney Museum of American. His low-fi science fiction film, JUNK, was praised by critic Amy Taubin as "everything indie film no longer is" and I WAS BORN, BUT…, a re-examination of Bogawa's punk rock years in Los Angeles featuring performances by Joe Strummer and Seam, premiered as the closing night film at the New York Underground Film Festival where it won the Festival Choice award and was reviewed in Variety as “a welcome addition to the Underground Canon”. His more recent short films have been featured in the New York Film Festival, Oberhausen Festival Internationale, the Black Maria Film and Video Festival (Director’s Choice Prize), the 1995 Biennial Exhibition of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Cinematexas Short Film Festival and Chicago Underground Film Festival.
