Update 10/25: Future Plans
Hey guys, we just passed $6,000 and are on track to meet our goal but we still need your help! Please like us on Facebook and tell all of your friends about Antharion! Every little thing helps.
We wanted to share with you a few features that we're going to be adding along with a few that we're considering.
We're definitely adding: alchemy, female avatars, pick-pocketing and a traits system (advantages/disadvantages that you can choose from during character creation).
We're considering: crafting, a persuasion skill, a blood particle system, optional walking animations, feats/perks, scaling down head size and a gambling mini game. There are a few other things but they're more tentative.
Also, let us know what kind of stretch goals you'd like to see.

Please add the walking animations, I cant stand playing games without them (I'm looking at you spiderweb).
The rest of them all look good to me, dont care much about the blood particle system though.
Creator Kahuna Kevin on October 27, 2012
I like the big head characters too, but a simple option to switch between big and smaller might make everyone happy.

@Chris
Perfect list. I second it.
Creator maurinusa on October 26, 2012
Agreed that walking animations are important, as well as being able to customize avatars. I like the "big head" art style currently used. perks system would be good. Not interested in gambling

Stretch Goals (You asked
Personal house. Better yet, town/stronghold
-tied with above-
Sidequest of building an army, and having some battles
More monsters
More classes (Specifically Necromancer, a good one!)
Faction wars, join a faction, help them, reap the benefits
Quests with awesome stories
Awesome / Fun crafting
Good armor/weapons/loot
Dynamic content. I'd love to have a 2nd playthrough, and have things be different.
All I got for now.

Of these options, the only ones which aren't interesting to me are scaling head size and the mini-game
Creator Roman Ondrus on October 26, 2012
I did not think about the walking animation as something important but @Zombra has a good point: "Since you spend the entire game walking around maps...." Walking animation is absolutely the top.
I always play rogue-like characters so pick-pocketing would be a nice option - but both PP and Persuasion seem to be a real stretch in a tactical game as mentioned below already. Focus on the core of the game.
Crafting is always a big +
Traits / feats / perks look to be a nice stretch goals
Creator Daniel Castillo on October 26, 2012
Maybe it's just me but I happily would trade pick-pocketing and a traits system for walking animation.
By the way, does Orphic Software or Antharion have an official Facebook page?, I couldn't find it.
$6049 and counting...

Probably the most important thing for me (assuming fun gameplay is a given) is a lot of different visual options for character creation. I'd love to see 20 different faces to pick from for each race/gender combination and 30 different hairstyles with a dozen different hair colors. Individuality is a big deal to me.
Walking animations sound great. Since you spend the entire game walking around maps, making it look good is a good idea.
I enjoy "social" characters so a persuasion skill sounds fun, but would it have much of a place in a tactical type game? Either way, I am into it.
I like the "big head" art design.
My last comment isn't a direct response to the above but a general suggestion ... it drives me crazy to see characters that walk around everywhere looking like they're handcuffed together. Would it be possible to have an "empty" space between party members on the main map, instead of them always being immediately adjacent?
Creator Dave blanchard on October 25, 2012
Of all the items on there Crafting is the biggest one to me. Would the walking animation be as easy as adding a few frames of changing art between steps?
