About this project
HiChristina! is about expressing yourself in radical, fun ways. While the internet has been connecting us digitally, Christina and I have been offering people new and old fashioned ways of being creative and playing together. We create scenarios to coax out a way of being that doesn't typically have a place. HiChristina! has been dubbed "a fairy tale" by the New York Times and given the Best of New York 2010 Award by the Village Voice for "Wackiest Gatherings."
"I Like You" is the feature-length narrative film that we're making to give people a way to experience HiChristina! vicariously. The movie takes what Christina and I have learned through doing wild performances at HiChristina! and applies it to the journey of two characters, Helio and Luna (played by myself and Christina), through a real and surreal New York City landscape.

Christina and Fritz are a performance art and crazy dress duo in New York City and this week they were awarded "New York's Wackiest Gatherings" by the Village Voice. Fritz, "a film guerilla auteur" (Black Book), has made over 50 short films that have shown everywhere from IFC to rusty boat hulls to hulu.com. He wrote a humorous novel called How To Live The Good Life, and is the writer/director of the movie I LIKE YOU. Christina, a fashion designer and an actress in I LIKE YOU plays a mean bass guitar! She singlehandedly launched her own clothing line and boutique on the shoes of her string when she came to New York in 2004. Together they are HiChristina! "... a fairytale," (New York Times) and "two scoops of fun," (Village Voice), creating audience-participatory events and scenarios that explore new ways of being, fun times, and wild ideas.
