Who we are
Ryan works at Meltdown Comics and on top is also the host of MeltCast2.0 a weekly podcast about the comic book industry. He grew up in the swamps of the south and moved to LA to continue his life adventure. Doug Brochu is a Beardomancer; That is to say he is many things. An actor, writer, blacksmith, herbalist, outdoors, enthusiast, avid reader, and player of video-games. He loves adventure most, and the spontaneity that comes with it.
Why is Beardomancy 101
We've been sharing this power with the world's ears via a podcast, http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/beardomancy-101/id548319969 but now we want to ensnare it's eyes as well. Ryan recently got cable after four years of letting his higher functions flourish without it. He soon found out that, for the most part, cable has nothing but inane garbage to offer. Mind and soul melting documentations of the lowest kind. Showcasing the petty, brutal nature of humankind. Think "The Buried Life" meets "Rob and Big", throw in a splash of
wanderlust, a pinch of geekery, and a hearty handful of manly bravado(at
least attempted), and you have what we are going for. We want to create
a show that is entertaining, informative, and sincere. Ryan and I's
friendship isn't canned, scripted, or rehearsed.
Our love of DnD,
movies, mead, comics, adventure, and the great outdoors isn't a sale
schtick. It's being a Beardomancer. It's us being ourselves. Our podcast
Beardomancy 101, and with your help this show, is our attempt to

Where the money is going
We want to show you something else, something greater. We're starting this kickstarter to raise funds to produce nine on-camera Beardomancy episodes that follow our adventures in life. This money will help all production on the Beardomancy pilot episode including editing, color grading, the musical score, sound engineering, music rights, visual effects and marketing.
