About this project
Keith and I need to fly from New York to Europe to perform at Hagenfesten; a unique festival of music (improv, jazz, experimental, and folk), visual art, poetry, performance and dance. We will be in the company 80 artists from Sweden, USA, Norway, Germany, France, and Italy. http://www.hagenfesten.se
It has been difficult to book other concerts in July because the venues that PAK would normally play at in the spring and the fall are closed for summer. We have a few club gigs and the festival has provided a small fee, but we still need additional money for one plane ticket and travel expenses.
Even though I have performed many times in Europe since 1993, with various projects, this will be my first time performing in Sweden. I’m excited to premiere PAK’s new music from our upcoming third CD at Hangenfesten 2010.

RON ANDERSON is a multi-instrumentalist intuitive music maker who plays traditional instruments like the electric guitar, but also will use anything that can make a sound - including the recording studio. He has 57 recordings released with the newest being a CD/DVD Friends by The Molecules and a pre-release CDR of some of music that will be found on a new CD called Secret Curve by his avant-rock trio PAK. He has performed in 15 different countries with multiple tours of North America, Europe and Japan.
