About this project
Hi there! My name is Mur Lafferty, podcaster and author of the award-winning podcast novellas, the Afterlife Series (Heaven, Hell, Earth, Wasteland, and War.)
Heaven started out as a contemporary fantasy audio series (also called Bangsian fantasy) about two friends who wander the afterlife together after their untimely deaths. Kate and Daniel find the Christian Heaven a bit too perfect for their liking and receive metaphysical passports to travel to the afterlives of different mythologies, different religions – even different species. As their travels continue, they discover there may a grander plan to their travels than they previously suspected. The audio series was absolutely free and still can be found: Season One: Heaven, Season Two: Hell, Season Three: Earth, the Parsec Award winning Season Four: Wasteland, and the final chapter Season Five: War are at podiobooks.com.
For years people have asked to have the series in book form, and now I'm looking to fund book design, cover design, and ebook conversion. If you want to help out, you can get the ebooks, a thumb drive with the ebooks and audio books, or order the hardcovers. And I will be delighted to accept one person to be my patron to encourage a sixth novella in the series.
