Kickstarter

I have these poems that I have written over the years and I would love to print them and publish them in a small book.  I also have personal random stories that have really happened to me in my life that have taught me lessons I could not live without.  These stories will also be in the book. 

I would like to start with printing only 200 copies or so at a local family owned and operated print shop.  I also would like to distribute them my self at various colleges here in Arizona. I am open for any ideas you might have for me.

I have more that I haven't posted on that blog just yet.  I also have several short stories I'm writing that need to be finished and would be published in the same book.  My husband will create the cover with his creative painting skills.  I will have my daughter draw small pictures for the footnote at each page. I will be posting pictures of their art soon I hope.

Please help this become a reality for me and my family.

I hope to garner about $4,000 for this project, which will pay for editing, proofing, cover, printing and promotion via the social Internet. I have found some publishing for as low as $2400 for around 200 books on the internet.  However, it is my goal is to work with a local company.  The funds raised here will also help pay for travel costs when I go to all the colleges here after I have published the book.  I want to go to Yavapai College in Prescott, Coconino CC and NAU in Flagstaff, Pima CC and UofA in Tucson, and ASU, SCC, MCC, SWIHA here in the Valley. I also want to see if I can distribute them at The Mesa Arts Center.
