Hello, my name is Luis Alberto Cayo. I am a visual effects artist that has worked in movies like "Green Lantern", "GI Joe 2" and "Piranha 3d" (www.cayovfx.com). I’m introducing a one-and-a-half inch pendant entitled "Call of Cthulhu" and looking to Kickstarter to help get my work seen by more people. The possibility of using my talents, working from home and be able to provide and also spend time with my family is ideal and I'm pursuing this. I want to create a jewelry business and to raise money for this I'm having a pre-release.   I will make as many pendants as are pledged for in the next 21 days...be it one or a thousand.

Characters and Monsters

Characters are a passion of mine. I love how they can say so much with a single look, pose or gesture. Monsters on the other hand, are projections of how evil a human being can be. We can learn a lot about our society from the monsters that have lived in human mythos since the beginnings of time.

Rewards

If you're not familiar with the Kickstarter model, the way it works is you receive a reward for an accompanying pledge in support of my project.  The more you pledge the better the rewards is.  Besides positive participation in an artist's life and the good karma vibes, rewards include:

A print of the design of your choosing. All of the artwork is don by me. Most of it is fan artwork. :) Depending on the pledge sizes are 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10 This will be autographed and with a handwritten thank you note.

Pendant

The Pendant's size is one inch and a half and will be printed in white brass($50), silver ($100) and gold ($1000)

Bronze Statuette

This is for the more serious tentacle lover. A two foot high bust of Cthulhu made out of bronze done ONLY if somebody pledges $7'000. Infinite more detail would be added to the original design
