This project will follow a teenager with Cerebral Palsy as he learns to stand and walk on his own.
The goal for this documentary is to re-establish what it truly means to be motivated. The film will be following Cheyne, a 19-year-old living with Cerebral Palsy, as he learns to stand and walk on his own.
Cerebral Palsy is a form of brain damage that cuts off communication between the brain and motor capabilities. At the age of 3, Cheyne was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, which affects the motor capabilities of all four limbs. According to doctors and specialists, Cheyne was never supposed to walk or be able to have full function in his arms or legs. He has since taken his first steps and learned to play guitar.
This documentary will hopefully inspire faith in those who have lost it and provide motivation to those who need it.
The majority of the funding will go into finishing production and post-production. Additional funds will go toward putting the film into film Festivals.
