The Hulk! Thoughts?
Seems I've gained a couple more supporters, so let me start off by saying: thank you so much! Here's the first look at my first avengers piece - The Hulk. Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts. I've penciled 3 more pieces and will continue to do so until I have the whole team. Since most of the pieces have yet to be complete, supporter feedback can make a huge impact on the final product.

thanks for the feedback daniel! Starting with the Hulk was a great learning experience. I tried to capture the general proportions of the face, instead of making it look exactly like one particular person. This effect is also a result of my watercolor technique remaining fairly loose. The pieces to follow are inspired by shots from the movie, but it's not my goal to achieve photo realism - hopefully just an impression. Feedback like this helps me feel like I'm on the right track. As I continue to do these pieces, the feedback will become vital. Hopefully I can strike the right impression of the characters while maintaining originality.

Whether by accident or by inspiration, this depiction of the Hulk strikes me as looking like Lou Ferrigno's iconic version. This is a very good drawing because you've somehow managed to capture the hidden humanity of the character. There is emotion in this. I look forward to seeing future updates, because this is already a great improvement from your last painting.
