It's time to take what I learned at comifest and take the next step - Denver Comic-Con! 

Having recently been accepted into Manhattan's School of Visual Arts Cartooning program, I'm doing everything I can to pursue comic arts. Just a few months ago, I participated in my first comic arts event: Denver Comic-fest. With the encouragement and support of my friends, family, and a few enthusiasts, I was able to raise enough money to pay for the entree and table fees, art supplies, and hotel costs. Comic-fest was a complete success! I learned a lot, and received more business, support, and encouragement than I could have ever expected. 

Now I'm asking for the same support to make it to Denver Colorado's first Comic Con. This event is many times comic-fests' size and grandeur. Denver-Con provides the chance for me to be among the likes of comic-book greats such as : Mike Allred, Sean Murphy, Amy Reeder, and many many others (http://www.denvercomiccon.com/). It is such an incredible honor to have the chance to stand next these great people, not only as a fan, but as a fellow artist. With so many talented masters within reach, I plan to use the experience to learn as much as I can from them. 

All proceeds for this fundraiser, help me pay for registration fees, materials, room & board, and traveling expenses. From now until the convention, I will use my time to focus on watercolor portraiture - specifically in the likeness of the wildly successful Avengers Movie cast. Though I will spend most of my time focusing on portraiture, I am still open to custom commissions of all kinds.
