Ed,
That's what I love about the title. They use to make us recite The Rifleman's Creed in boot camp and that phrase "no enemy, but peace" struck me for being so forthrightly martial. It admits to a complicated truth. I like "sentence" titles from book and film.

Y'know, it's about as hard to parse the title of this book as it is the name of the "Have Gun, Will Travel" TV show. (Or, at least, as a pre-teen, "Have Gun, Will Travel" seemed like a pretty oblique name.)
Of course, the title means that there are no more enemies to fight and there is only peace. But, if you take out the comma, it reads "No Enemy But Peace", meaning that we want to fight all the time and peace is our enemy.
I know the book puts the quote that this is from in context, but I'm just saying that the title isn't actually as clear as might want it to be.
