Update #5: Success and thank you

Posted on July 31, 2010

Hello supporters and dear friends,
What an amazing honor to have all of you backing my project!!
We are fast at work to build the website and we are targeting a late-September launch.
In the meantime, I have promises to keep - spicy curried walnuts to make and deliver, dinner parties to plan, votives and match boxes to make and blogs and radio shows to book.
So, can you please provide me with addresses etc so I can get you your well-deserved goodies and call me to plan you dinner (you know who you are!!) and send me your stories and recipes for the blog!!
LOVE to ALL!!
Carole

Update #4: 26 hours and counting!!

Posted on July 29, 2010

Thank you ALL for contributing. I am overwhelmed with gratitude!!
I spoke with my web designer and told her of our success on kickstarter so we'll be in high gear on the website with a target launch date of late September. YIPPEE!!!!!!!

Update #3: Why We Love the U.S. Postal Service and You!

Posted on July 21, 2010

We have received an extra $400 in checks through the mail this week so we are up to $6,560 now.
Again and always, a great big thanks to our supporters!

Update #2: OK - we are there and then some!

Posted on July 21, 2010

I have been asked by some - you met your goal, so you don't need additional support. Well we have BUT $6K was the minimal quote I received for a new website and being new to this type of fundraising I wanted to achieve success and not be too aggressive. What I have learned is I have amazing friends and supporters for my project which is beyond humbling. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!
With that said, all of you have helped get me to an achievable goal. With continued contributions, I can build a website with even more bells and whistles.
If you have any more questions - fire away!!
Love you all!!
Carole
