About this project

We believe that the Occupy movement is one of the most important outlashes of public dismay in recent history and we would like to, in our customary and hyper-literate way, cover the first-person accounts that abound in the encampments. With guarenteed reportage from Portland, Oakland, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Boston, DC, and Chicago, not to mention the open submissions call we are soon to promote like crazy, we are sure this issue is going to be chalk full of high-quality content. We hope that you'll get behind us and partake in this historically important issue of our fair magazine.

While we fully intend to offer this issue online free of charge as always, we feel that this particular issue definitely needs to see the printed page in order to maximize its output. With the $200 we already have budgeted for this purpose and the $350 we're trying to raise, we'll be able to print roughly 250 copies of the issue for nationwide distribution. If we sell out of them quickly, we'll double down and go for 500.
