On May 1st of this year Seal Team Six took down Osama Bin Laden. AMERICAN SOLDIER: FINAL JUSTICE follows the action packed mission.
- “We can't all be heroes, because somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by.”
--Will Rogers
That’s how I envision AMERICAN SOLDIER: FINAL JUSTICE – a long, loud and rousing round of applause saluting the men and woman of the United States military.
AMERICAN SOLDIER: FINAL JUSTICE is an action packed look at Seal Team Six as it hunts down Osama Bin Laden for crimes against humanity.
It’s also a great opportunity to honor military families and veterans.
The plan is simple – take funds acquired through Kickstarter and match them with funds raised on a local level to produce, market and publish a small print run (approximately 100 to 200 copies) of AMERICAN SOLDIER: FINAL JUSTICE. This print run will satisfy early collector interest as well as Kickstarter reward recipients.
From there we address a larger independent publisher (my personal preference would be ONI PRESS, IMAGE COMICS or DARK HORSE COMICS) in hopes of getting AMERICAN SOLDIER produced on a larger scale. This will allow us to get the comic into the hands of thousands of comic fans nationwide.
NOW HERE IS THE BEST PART…
I’m committing every dollar I make (be it $1 or $50,000) from the completed AMERICAN SOLDIER: FINAL JUSTICE comic to three top notch, A+ rated military family and veterans charities.
- THE NATIONAL MILITARY FAMILY ASSOCIATION
- THE FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION
- and THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
By assisting me in producing AMERICAN SOLDIER you’re creating an opportunity to help our real American heroes: the men and woman of the U.S. military.
So here is a quick recap: Funds acquired through Kickstarter will be used to produce, market and self publish AMERICAN SOLDIER: FINAL JUSTICE. We hope to take that self published book and move it to a bigger publisher to get the book to as many people as possible. And finally, every penny I make from the sale of the comic I will give to the three organizations listed above.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my project and good luck in everything you do.
CREATOR’S NOTE: Just too clear up any potential misunderstanding or confusion – NO MONEY DONATED TO THIS PROJECT IS GOING TO CHARITY. Every penny donated through Kickstarter will go to the production, marketing and publication of the AMERICAN SOLDIER: FINAL JUSTICE comic book. The three organizations listed above will only receive money from Thomas Wayne if the completed comic book sells.
