Sorry to pre-empt my fabulous family stylin' with the scarves video, but I just got caught up in a Cedar Waxwing explosion.  Since they are a major part of my scarving oeuvre, I thought you might like to see them in action.  Bathing en masse in the creek.  Shot in my backyard 11/26/11 2:30PM  and once again, video is not my strong suit.  Stills of the Waxwings will be posted later on my website.   

My new video featuring the test runs of the Silk Birds!  I'm not a videographer, but I wanted everyone to see the scarves in action!  And you can't go wrong with Leigh hamming it up for the camera!!  (mad improv skills baby sis!!)  The scarves are beautiful and colorful and 100% silk.  The designs are based on photographs I have taken of birds over the past year.  I've transformed the original photos into vibrant translations of the avian world.  Birds are very inspirational, and I've been wanting to make scaves for a long time.  I've had 3 of the designs (shown in the video) made into scarves, and am very happy with the result.  However they are somewhat costly to make, so I'm trying to raise money to do a full run and bring down the price so everyone can afford them!!   Of course I will always be able to do custom orders, but I believe that beauty is for the masses!!
