Hello my name is Jerome Walford. I make living as a graphic designer and illustrator. But I also I have a passion to write, illustrate an original comic series. In the summer of 2010 I began a webcomic based on my creator-owned graphic novel series, "Nowhere Man".
“Nowhere Man” is a multi-volume series that follows Jack Maguire, an ambitious NYPD detective and Zade, a mysterious super human stuck in Jack’s body.
The two struggle for control as a deep conspiracy unfolds that could change the world as we know it. “Nowhere Man” has received glowing reviews on NJ.com, from Phil Hampton of the Comic Academy and others. Art from the series has also appeared in the Riverdale Press, The New York Daily News and on Bronxnet TV.
The first volume of "Nowhere Man" will go into distribution early 2013 in full color as three books, about 40 pages each. I would love for you to be a part of it. In exchange there are some nice rewards, not to mention all printed pre-orders will get a signed copy at a discounted price.

Who else has been involved with this project?
Editorial: Maya Rock, Russ Lane, Amy Walford (my wonderful wife) and Akinwale Ogundipe. "Nowhere Man" has proven to be a very demanding project and I'm really thankful to these folks for helping when they can.
Music: Nathan Lanier and Joshua Green have done some original music for "Nowhere Man", some which is heard on the trailer. We will do more with this at some point.

What is the money
for?
Most of the funding goal will cover printing and shipping
the three books in volume one to fulfill the pre-orders as well as the rewards.
The next priority is to complete the setup of printing for regular distribution
for summer 2013, then setting a bit aside to cover convention attendances for
summer/fall 2013.
How far along is the work?
Currently finishing the color work on the art in book three. Then I'll do another polish round on all three books. So perhaps another month in production, then I'll be starting the print proofing process. Delivering by December on most rewards is looking reasonable at this point. Check out the fancy graphic.

In the tradition of other great works of fiction, the arc of “Nowhere Man” is plotted along major actual historical events, yet stays grounded in the personal and inward struggles of its characters. The decisions they make could change life as we know it.
