Hello and thank you for visiting our project page. With your help we can launch a new sunglasses brand that incorporate sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.
Everyone that pledges will be able to choose which model and color they want at the end of the project. All sunglasses will ship in January.
Our Story.
Sunglasses have traditionally been made from harmful plastics and metals through environmentally damaging manufacturing processes. We created PANDA with the belief that there is no reason why stylish sunglasses should not come in an environmentally friendly form.
Where We Are Now.
We have spent the last year fine-tuning our designs. We have received countless feedback from our local community and peers. We our launching our first 5 designs that will come in three different stains: natural, brown, and black. We have partnered with a woodsmith/manufacturer and prototypes are one step away from production. We need your financial support to start creating our hand-crafted bamboo sunglasses.
What Makes PANDA special.
Eco-friendly Bamboo
Bamboo is a green alternative to environmentally hazardous plastics and metal sunglasses. Its environmental benefits arise out of its ability to grow in a sustainable manner without the need for fertilizers, pesticides, or much water. It is more moisture resistant and more stable than traditional woods such as Oak. Bamboo is quickly becoming one of the most important plants in the world.

All PANDA sunglasses are individually handcrafted to ensure superior quality. The attention to detail creates a final product that is not only stylish but also guaranteed to last for a lifetime. We offer a 100% lifetime warranty on all of our sunglasses and will replace any pair of glasses with defects caused by materials and workmanship.

We are looking to raise $3,000. Your support will allow us to create our first run of sunglasses. All money raised will go towards creating the sunglasses. Any plege that is a pre-order will receive free shipping worldwide.

At this time we can not offer prescription lenses. However, just like other sunglasses you can take the frames to a eye professional to get the lenses replaced.

The sunglasses come with polarized black lenses.

The sunglasses measure 5.5-5.75 inches across depending on the model. In addition, we have flex hinges that allow the side pieces to go out an additional inch so they will fit every head type. We would be happy to offer exchanges until you find the perfect pair.

Our Kickstarter project ends on Dec 31, 2011. All bakers will receive a formal message on January 1, 2012 requesting which models you would like along with the best shipping address. The sunglasses will be shipped out either the first or second week of January 2012.
