Thanks to everyone who helped us make it to the $10,000 mark.

Even though we reached our kickstarter goal, we could still REALLY use another $2000 in backing to make 6x6 run like a well-oiled machine.

(Hey, if the US government can raise the debt ceiling past 14.2 trillion, I don’t think it’s too over-the-top to raise our funding goal to $12,000 so we can buy extra lighting , rent chairs for workshop participants, and pay for pod-casting equipment. You know what I'm sayin'?)

Also—We still need to cover costs for printing and shipping of postcards and t-shirts so we can get your righteous rewards into your hands as soon as earthly possible.

It’s exciting to be this close to the finish line, but the next 12 days are absolutely critical. As you already know, Kickstarter is an all or nothing proposition.  Either we reach our $10,000 goal, or we get nothing.  Zip, Zilch, ZERO.  (Pretty scary!)

Hello My Big-Shot Investors,

I wanted to share with you the final images of the linocut print I’ve spent the past three weeks creating for Kickstarter backers who invest at the $200 level.

So, without further ado, I give you:  "The Queen".

Hand-pulled and collaged, limited edition, linocut print on archival cotton rag paper.
(Edition of 25) 11 x 8.5 inches (28 x 22cm.)

I framed print #4 of 25 and for the moment she is living in my dining room.  Maybe it's the crown, but I swear it's the very first thing you see when you walk in the room. 

I can't keep my eyes off of her!

In the end I decided to make it twice the size I had originally planned. The 4x6 inch size I listed in the original Kickstarter description was WAY too small for the image I wanted to do.  

I also added a really lovely little star collage element at the very last moment, so aside from being a hand-pulled print, every single one of them is truly,truly unique.

All of the work in “The Coronation" series is going to be special, but this print is really something unique. I created it exclusively for art buyers who back our Kickstarter campaign, and it won’t be available for sale by me at any other time.

Never. Ever. Again. Seriously. 

And just when you think it couldn’t get any better I have one more surprise: I want to show you the first in a series of videos about my new body of work.  

It’s a fantastic sneak peek into my studio, how I work, and the ideas behind what I do.  You even get to see me make coffee.  Also I'm wearing my new pink star earrings and that is awesome.

So there ya go!
