On December 1st, 2009 my fourth child, Anthony Ervin, was born via emergency c-section weighing only 2 pounds 12 ounces. He was supposed to die. 

On December 2nd, 2009 His mother, my wife, Brynn Ervin did die. 

A blood clot that had formed during her pregnancy broke free, lodged in her heart and lungs causing her heart to stop and her lungs to fail. It would take 95 minutes for surgeons to remove the clot. For 95 minutes my wife was on the other side. For over a month she would hover on the edge of death.

All the time, my newest child struggled for life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

It was only through the grace of God, the prayers of thousands and the herculean efforts of many medical professionals that both Brynn and Anthony not only survived but were reunited as mother and son only one month later.

Told, in excruciating detail, from the point of view of a man who suddenly found himself in the center of horrific events, Please, God, Let Them Be Amazing is an interwoven tale of romance, tragedy and familial love focusing on how God still works miracles today through the talents and strengths of many different people.

The creative part of this project has already been completed. The hard work of writing, editing and rewriting is behind us. Now, we just need to get it printed and published. Thanks for your help in getting us to that final step!
