About this project
In 2011, the Nomad•ness TV web series catapulted forward with a successful Kickstarter campaign for the episode Berlin or BUST. This year it's all about the Tribe. Nomad•ness Travel Tribe is the online community that was launched as a way to grab the demographic of travelers that the web series attracts. Since it's conception in September 2011, the Tribe now consists of over 1500 members, that range from casual travelers to full on expats, living all over the world. In four months there have been Meet Ups in New York, Dubai, Shanghai, Rio, Houston, D.C., Atlanta, London, Brussels, and South Africa. It's one of the fastest growing, closed online communities, with a purpose, on Facebook...and literally an international movement.
This Kickstarter Campaign is for our Ultimate International Meet Up Episode that we are shooting on September 29, 2012 in New York City. The Tribe has had such an influential impact on the series, that it is now a part of the show. This day marks the Tribe's 1 Year Anniversary as well. So we figured what better way to bring it in that to have as many of our members, from around the world, at one Meet Up, and film an episode there. Thus you have our Ultimate International Meet Up Episode. Pledges will go to production costs for a film crew, venue costs for the event, goodie bags, and the 1 Year Tribe Yearbook. Definitely going to be an amazing year to recap.

After graduating with her B.A. in Television and Film production, from Iona College, Evita Robinson hit the world running, or creating, rather. Within weeks of graduation, in 2006, she attended the New York Film Academy, studying Digital Filmmaking in Paris, France at La Femis film school.
Since her first taste of Europe, at age twenty-one, Evita has traveled to twelve countries, on three different continents. She has since lived in New York, Paris, Japan, and Thailand.
While in New York City Ms. Robinson works in television and film production. Her resume includes production work with names such as A&E, HBO, MTV, BET, BBC, TURNER, the reality travel series JET SET ZERO, and Spike Lee’s 40 ACRES AND A MULE FILMWORKS. The inquisitive nature she had as a child has never left. Thus, she continues to embark on her journey of curiosity, and fulfillment, through art and travel.
She is now the Founder and face of the Nomad•ness Travel Series and Nomad•ness Travel Tribe.
