A Documentary About Four Israeli Peace Activists
Israel vs. Israel is an award-winning documentary about Jewish peace activists who face skepticism and criticism from their fellow Israeli citizens. A Rabbi, a soldier, a grandmother and an anarchist - four very different Israelis who share a common goal: to achieve peace in the Middle East and end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian Territories.
Undeterred, they promote a peaceful solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in order to improve the lives of Palestinians and their fellow countrymen alike. Using in depth interviews and dynamic footage to narrate their inspiring stories, Israel vs. Israel provides a unique perspective on the struggle to find a peaceful solution to this conflict. Israeli peace activists deserve the world’s attention as they work for peace and an end to the conflict.
These are highly volatile times in the Middle East, as history is being rewritten in front of our eyes. Popular uprisings are spreading throughout the Arab world.
This film highlights Israelis’ struggle for peace. Israel vs. Israel informs and educates people about the situation in the West Bank. The film contains unique footage and interviews from leading activists in Jerusalem. Israel vs. Israel is an international success, and it has managed to bring together people from all sides that believe in peace, justice and co-existence.
We want to screen Israel vs. Israel to as many people as possible. We start our main US screening tour in the middle of January. The film will be screened in theaters, libraries and universities throughout the country. Your support will make a difference as we work to show the film to as many people as possible.
US policy is a major force in dealing with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. At the same time, Americans don’t have a clear picture of the conflict. We want to change that, by bringing the film to as many places as possible in the US.
The funds raised will be used to:
- · Help arrange for venues to screen documentary
- · Cover travel expenses of the director so he attend screenings and answer questions
- · Publicize screenings of the film
- · Prepare materials that support the screenings (flyers, posters, etc.)
Thank you for your support.
