Test Drive Results Are In!
We had a great time hanging out with our backers on December 22nd and getting their reactions to experiencing the ELF first hand. The day started out a little windy and cold, but the sun was shining and spirits were high. Over sixty people turned out to see and try the ELF, and we managed to persuade about a third of them to tear themselves away from the action outside to fill out comment cards. Here is how the ELF measured up, along with some of our favorite comments:
Overall, how would you rate the ELF? 8.5/10
"So fun! Like a motorcycle, bike, and car all at once."
How easy was it to steer? 7.8/10
"Pretty easy, but took a little getting used to."
How comfortable was it for you? 8.3/10
"Very comfortable seat and pedaling position."
Would you recommend the ELF? 9.1/10
"Totally!"

Loved seeing the smiles on people's faces. That pretty much says it all!

@Austin - The complaints were few, and were all about known issues that we are actively addressing (almost entirely around seat adjust-ability). It was a great affirmation that we are on the right track and aren't just looking at it with the rosy glasses of the inventor. Thanks for asking.

Not to be too negative, but part of me is curious as to if there were any common complaints. I would like to know what not to expect, but I also worry knowing such things will just make me focus on them once receiving one.
