Our goal is to make a fantastic live action Steampunk short film! Why? Because we haven't seen one yet!
What is Steampunk? It's a visual aesthetic combining the romance of the 1800s with the technology of the future. In short it's the 1800's "World of Tomorrow" as imagined by H.G. Wells and Jules Verne with lots of brass gears and steam valves! However, because we wanted to add our own flavor, we'll be combining the elements of the 1940's into it. So think 1800s World of Tomorrow meets Gotham City!
LONDINIUM is the short film taking place in this setting! It is a dark Sci-Fi / Noir/Action / Adventure film that will be shot mainly on location in and around Baltimore City MD.
In order to make this happen, We have written a script, story-boarded it, found and assembled an extremely experienced crew, priced out equipment rentals and build costs. Found excellent actors who are interested in the project., Located a space for all this to go down, and put a budget and shooting schedule together. All that is left is to actually film it!

Your money will go directly towards making this actually happen! We have been in pre-production for a while now and have gone as far as we can without the aid of funding. We need money to pay for the actual filming and post-production of this amazing film! Your generous donations will help pay for everything we need to make this film a reality. This includes but is not limited to: access to historic locations, high-quality materials to build props, Beautiful costumes, edible food, a stunning set (or two), believable Visual Effects, and, of course, the lights, camera, and the action!

Our crew consists of savvy veterans of numerous other productions, films and TV shows like Die Hard 4, HBO's The Wire, National Treasure 2, and Modern Love is Automatic. The list goes on, but the point is we do, in fact, know what we are doing. Mason Booker has been an aspiring filmmaker for the last 8 years of his life. He left his job at a law firm in order to better spend his time pursuing storytelling and film. In true form he is now a starving artist. He has worked on almost every major film and TV show to come through the Baltimore area, most notably HBO's "The Wire." And over the years he has written and directed many projects of his own This includes his two feature films, three short films, and a Sci-Fi TV pilot C-47.
Londinium will be his fourth short film and will perhaps be the one that finally announces his presence to the world.
