Sophomore album with a new batch of songs we are very excited about. We need money to finish recording at Flying Blanket. We're poor.
Hi, we're Gospel Claws. Welcome to our Kickstarter page! If you don't know us, we're from Tempe, Arizona and have been playing music together since 2007. Our record label, Common Wall Media, has helped us release a self-titled EP (2008) and a debut full length album, C-L-A-W-S (2010). Last year we were fortunate enough to be selected as an official showcasing act for SXSW as a result of our first album.
So, we're gearing up to release a second full length but we can't do it without you! Common Wall has agreed to fund about half of the record and release it later this year. The other half will come from the cash we've earned from playing shows paired with the funds we raise here on Kickstarter. Your contribution will support every aspect of the new album – recording, mastering, printing, and promotion.
Recording is already underway with our buddy Bob Hoag at Flying Blanket. We're really excited about how things are coming together and can't wait to share the songs with you all. Help us spread the word!
