Update #19: We're Wrapped! (More Photos)
That's a wrap! That means we are completely done shooting Pairings! I can't thank you enough for helping make Pairings a reality. I had a vision for what I wanted, but my crew shattered that vision and took the show to places I couldn't have expected. The footage really looks amazing.
Here are some more stills from our last weekend:

Bobert (Nathan Mobley) at home.

Let sleeping Bobert's lie.

Behind the Scenes. We let Nathan have a turn with the slate.

This weekend was all about Backers who also opened their houses to us! This is ALAN dropping off lasagna at friends house who just had a baby.

Thanks again,
Ed & Jodie

Update #16: Weekend 1 Wrapped!
We did it! Two days down and 6 to go! It couldn't have happened without all of your support. We couldn't be more pleased with the results so far. I thought you all might enjoy a sneak peak at what we've been doing with your donations. Here are some screen captures from our footage. These look beautiful thanks to our Cinematographer Seth Johnson and Gaffer Justin Aguirre.

Update #15: Location, Location, Location!
We have found a sushi restaurant to shoot it in!
A small but very nice (and delicious) sushi restaurant in Culver City has agreed to let us take over their sushi bar for a Sunday while they are closed on April 1st.

Sushi Central is run by Phillip Yee and his wife Tallie and their philosophy is to make sushi more approachable and educate their clientele about sushi. They feel that sushi is too intimidating to most people. Between the language barrier and stern demeanor of many sushi chefs, most people only feel comfortable ordering a few rolls they are comfortable with.
Philip and Tallie talk to you while they make your sushi, and encourage questions. Their menu is also chock full of tips and little tidbits of history. They also teach classes for aspiring sushi chefs. We are so happy to have a great establishment to shoot in that matches our food philosophy.
And we could not have done this without your support. Thank you all so much again. I'll continue to keep you updated the process moves along.
