If you love beef jerky, but want ALL the chemicals taken out and replaced with natural ingredients and unique flavors, then look no further.

We recently completed a successful Kickstarter campaign for Sweet Meat Jerky that has helped us begin manufacturing and distributing our product to local retailers...but there is one more thing we need! In order to print our custom logo on our packaging, we need to purchase custom printing plates! We need two plates (one for the front of the package and one for the back) - each plate is about $450 dollars. 

So the funds raised from this Kickstarter campaign will go towards:

· Printing plates for our packaging design

Why Sweet Meat Jerky?

On the eve of our final year in college, we began questioning our purpose in the world. Having spent the previous four years studying Finance and Economics, we were scared that we would become trapped in corporate America (not that there is anything wrong with that). Entrepreneurs at heart, we knew we would not find happiness crunching numbers in a cubicle. Craving a change of pace, we began to search for inspiration.

That was 8 months ago. Since then, we have tirelessly re-engineered beef jerky to create an organic product that is delicious and healthy.

Our FLAVORS: We have launched with 1 official flavor. We are calling it Sweet Meat Jerky Classic. A perfect blend between Soy and Teriyaki. Not too hot, not too sweet.

With enough financing we will be able to expand our product line though. We want to have a tribute flavor to the great state we’ve called home the last several years, which we’re calling: Tennessee Honey BBQ. A savory combination of southern honey and home-style barbeque sauce – this flavor is sure to please southerners and non-southerners alike! This Kickstarter campaign is devoted to raising enough financing to work with a flavor laboratory that will help us develop the worlds most delicious Honey BBQ jerky!

We also plan to have a jerky with a bite! Hot and Spicy Citrus has plenty of kick for those with tougher taste buds.

PACKAGING: We have a responsibility to take care of our planet. The amount of plastic waste disposed of on a daily basis is unnecessary and we want to help. By using a biodegradable package, our product has a smaller environmental footprint than any of our competitors - and we can rest our heads at night knowing we are doing our part as a company to preserve our planet.
