Update #1: Twelfth Night...My Next Project...Your Help Needed...Please Consider Again!

Exciting news! I’ve started
a new venture with a number of people involved…it’s the capturing of Twelfth
Night by William Shakespeare on video to be presented online in webisode form!
We are already in rehearsals with an amazing cast and I need your help to make
it happen as amazingly as it could happen. I am contacting you because you were
generous enough to offer your pledge on my last project which didn’t happen and
thankfully you were not charged but now I have this – which is something even
better! All donations at this time will be gathered (it is not a pledge all or
nothing fundraiser like last time) and put into the production! We are in need
of funding for various production needs as listed on our website. Please check
it out at www.12thnight.info which is under construction (I will be adding more
incentives and updates so if you donate you will get that updated incentive!).
We are receiving donations at www.paypal.com recipient name
“rockstarsissy@gmail.com” (that’s me, accepting donations on behalf of myself
or any cast member). I decided to use paypal and accept donations directly to
avoid the approximately 10% service fees that kickstarter and the credit card companies
take combined; as every penny counts for our production! I tried to design our
www.12thnight.info webpage much like kickstarter of indiegogo however there are
small differences and I will update backers manually by each day end!
We are shooting for June
& July to begin filming and are setting a deadline for donating by the end
of May. We began rehearsing in April and will continue rehearsing til the end
of May.
I approached the instrument
makers of Strumstick with regards to sponsoring our production with one of
their instruments…and they agreed!!!! They were totally into the idea of our
production! They sent me a D Grand Strumstick see strumstick.com!!!! The character of Feste the
clown will sing the songs Shakespeare wrote and accompany himself on the
strumstick to melodies I have written for Shakespeare’s lyrics! I’d like to
continue to share all these amazing pieces of news with you! Your donations are

Catherine Taormina is fun, energetic & extremely involved in the creative arts. She works on stage and in film & video as a performer. Her most notable movie credit is playing Paul Reiser’s mother and Peter Falk’s wife as Olympia Dukakis’ character as a younger woman in a flashback scene in the movie “The Thing About My Folks”. She also works behind the scenes in video production and most enjoys video editing.
Catherine Taormina is also known as Rockstar Sissy singer-songwriter-guitarist-pop-rock fun-punker composer of 23 fun, danceable, groovin’, catchy songs. With a background in writing poetry, she is also a published author of the book of poetry “Chalkboard With A Bad Eraser” and also the handmade book “My Steaks Are Rare Put Up Your Dukes You Ain’t In The Ring With No Porkchop”, lyrics are noticeably smart and artistic. She has a style & presence uniquely hers with strong energy. She most enjoys performing with her band of seasoned musicians. She is a 3 year Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Survivor and composed the song “I’m Too Young For This” for the organization Stupid Cancer/I2Y. She is an environmental steward and a conscious consumer. When she is not busy organizing and doing creating artwork, or working in the fabric arts, she goes for a 4 mile run in Central Park and bops from here to there on her little foldable bike.
