What is "Logan the Conversationist"?
Logan the Conversationist is a comedic web-series detailing the life and times of Logan and Michael; two roommates who are both stuck dealing with Logan’s inability to carry on conversation.
The series is in its 4th and 5th seasons and pre-production is coming to a close after several months of development. The screenplay is finalized and the cast and crew are set; filming begins the first week of 2012.
Season IV and V are taking a bigger leap than the previous seasons. The two additional seasons will be filmed over a course of 8 days and will take place in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
Michael and Logan utilize the web-series as a way to deliver the content to their fans in a format that would be similar to a television program, releasing each new webisode bi-weekly.
Who is behind the project?
The project’s co-creators are Michael McGathy and Logan Shelton; coincidentally, the two leading roles of the series. Michael and Logan met in high school and began developing short videos and putting on local stage productions in Madison/Mayodan, NC.
Over the years, the duo has taken on larger scale productions and continued to deliver content despite miles of separation. Logan has moved to New York to study film at the collegiate level. Michael has recently graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and is continuing his studies at the graduate level in 2012. Despite their distance and different career paths, Logan and Michael continue to retain connection to develop their career and hobby in film-making.

Why
do you want my money?
Creating a web series is not without its costs. Although we have effectively
self-funded the seasons in the past, the size of the project requires a greater
budget than the previous seasons. Project expenses include:
· Props/Equipment: No rubber chickens and whoopee cushions, but the necessary props for the necessary effect.
· Location/Rental fees: Several locations need some monetary sum to allow us to film during hours of operation and times of close.
· Crew Costs: While Logan and Michael need no compensation for their work; getting supporting actors/crew can add up quickly. No Craft service tables will be catering for our actors and crew, but they will need to eat during long days of filming.
· Awesome merchandise for fans and supporters
$2,000 will be a great starting point to make
this series as we imagine it. Anything above that will make it even more
awesome.

What is the
production status?
Seasons IV and V are completely written, storyboarded, and casted. Filming will take place the first week of January 2012. Principle filming will continue for 7 days. Post-production will require a month’s work and the Season IV premiere will be posted on Youtube in Mid-February 2012.
