ENDING KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN, STARTING AGAIN THRU PAYPAL, SAGA MOTEL BACKS PROJECT MATCHING DONATIONS
PROJECT UPDATE:
We are ending The Motels of Route 66 Kickstarter campaign. Any donations already given will not be processed. Instead, we are going to streamline the fundraising efforts with a newly added donation section on The Motels of Route 66's website utilizing the PayPal Giving Widget, where you can give directly.
I also have a new UPDATE on the fundraising effort. John Rothman, longtime owner of the Saga Motor Hotel on Route 66 in Pasadena, CA, has generously offered to match YOUR donation. For every $1,000, John will match it in total contributions to the project up to $5,000. The total amount of $10,000 will fund our initial production trip and post-production!
Incentive gifts will still apply with contributions through the PayPal Giving Donation application.

The 2-week trip that the donations will be funding will be for Phase One, to shoot content for three film shorts, a trailer and a webisode for the project. Funds will also go towards the editing and post-production of the footage. Phase Two will be a full month long shoot funded separately at a later date.
