Kickstarter

Hi everyone,

I have completed a couple of the card designs already, and I'm working on finishing up the rest of them. I feel like it has taken me a long time to get them out to you - for that I apologize. I am in the midst of finishing up at my old job, and my freelance work is kicking into high gear - so please forgive me for my slightly slower than anticipated pace!

Lots of New Work
As we near the half way mark of the 30 day timeline, I wanted to check in with a quick update to my loyal backers. As a result of The Business Card Project, I've been getting lots of requests outside of Kickstarter for design work... turns out there are lots of people out there who need more than just a business card! This was really my goal for the Kickstarter campaign - to kickstart my business and gain new clients. And it's working! So thanks to everyone who has backed my project, contacted me for other work, and publicized my project... you guys are making my full-time freelance career a reality!

A Note About iPads
I often wonder why iPads do not support Flash. I'm a long-time Apple enthusiast, and I rarely complain about their products, but this is one thing that really bugs me. I would love to know the politics behind that decision. But anyways, it has been brought to my attention that my website does not function properly on iPads (it does have Flash elements). Thank you to everyone who has backed The Business Card Project so far! Thanks to you, it is already fully funded. This means that the project is a go, and all backers will be receiving their rewards once the 30 day period is over. Kickstarter does not place a limit on funding, so the more backers I get, the more business cards I will be designing!
