PRJ's original dance production, Santa's Workshop, needs you to help kick the production up a notch!

Toy soldiers? Check!

Gingerbread men? Check!

South Pole elves?  ....wut?!

Add it all up, and it's a holiday show like no other! Using modern, hip hop and contemporary dance and music, PRJ's original show, Santa's Workshop, tells the story of an ordinary person who dreams of becoming an official elf.

Audiences of all ages have delighted in this contemporary treatment of the age-old themes of achieving one's dreams, as they follow an elf-in-training through adversity and doubt and on to success.

Over the past four years, this original show has been tweaked and improved, and the script is now copyrighted. This year, we are ready to kick the show up a notch in terms of costuming, professional fees, marketing and performance space.

Kickstarter funds will help us achieve the quality of production that Santa's Workshop deserves to move this proven crowd-pleaser to its next level. With this funding we will be able to:

  • increase professional fees, which will allow us continue to attract professional dancers, choreographers and directors.
  • improve and expand our costumes. We're still using the costumes from our very first production.They were begged, borrowed or dug out of the bin and showing their age and need to be replaced and improved. The puffy paint is falling off of the poor Gingerbread Men!
  • expand our cast size to include more local children. The cast size is flexible and we can add more kids if we have the costumes available.
  • market an improved show. This will also enable us to present more performances or use a larger - but more expensive - venue. We would especially love to have more of our reduced admission performances that we provide for school children. Many of these local and regional kids would not otherwise have a chance to see this fun show with music and characters they love. This is not a show where children must sit quietly - participation is encouraged!
