Update #2: First hardware purchase and first track in progress, Piano Collaboration
Hello dear supporters.
I am checking in with an update to let you know that I have made my first purchase using the funds you have raised. More to come over the next few months. I purchased a new soundcard that will enable me to record high quality live instrumentation and vocals.
I have laid down the base layers of a new track. My first track will feature the music for a short video project that my friends Jennifer Faust and Freyja are doing together. They asked me to do the music for a Creative Performance collaboration they are doing and making a music video with. We have a great film and special effects crew, and I am so happy to be a part of it.
My newest project is a live collaboration with Concert Pianist Michael Glenn Williams from Southern California, where I process the live piano sounds and add beats and textures for an organic acoustic- meets -electronic feel with a dark cinematic vibe. We have our first show on March 28th in Thousand Oaks, CA. I am hoping to make a recorded track or two with him as part of the album. The new project is titled Umber Pols.
I will also be purchasing a keyboard/midi controller and mixing/editing software to complete my studio. I will update you as things progress.
