Hi.. I'm Ross Bellenoit. I'm a Philadelphia based songwriter, guitarist and Producer. I've worked for the past 6 years as a studio player, and as a side man to many tremendous artists and groups you might heard of. Artists like Amos Lee, The Sweet Back Sisters, Birdie Bush and many others.
I've been writing my own music for a long time, but just this year I’ve cut my debut CD called “Eight Track Mind”. It's 10 tracks of my very own songwriting and production, with some great contributions from Philadelphia’s finest musicians.
The CD is almost finished except for one very important part, and that’s where you come in. I still need to duplicate the CD and fulfill a lifelong dream of releasing my very own Album... that’s right- I said album, a 12 inch, vinyl LP, pressed like a pancake. Old school/new school- maybe it’s a little bit of both. I'm enlisting you to help me finish my Album and get it out there.
The money I raise will cover the duplication of both a CD and a Vinyl version, and pay for some of the many costs associated with getting my music to the hands of radio, record labels and media... we call that Promotion.
The goal of this campaign is $5,000 and if 100 of you can pledge just $50 each- we'll be there. Of course anything you're gracious enough to give is mightily appreciated.
I've put together a list of cool benefits as a thank you for helping me raise these funds.
Thank you for listening, and supporting my project!

"I'm not sure I've ever heard Ross play a bad note. It seems like he always finds a way to take each song to another level, but without ever distorting the original intent of the artist. That's a special gift, and probably the highest praise you can give to a producer or session musician."
- Jay Levin, Owner, Turtle Studios
'...It's worth noting that Bellenoit, AKA Rolling Thunder, is a musician who leaves cocky guitar guys in the audience squeezing their girlfriends a bit tighter on their way out the door. Bellenoit's skills are a local legend.'
- PLAY MAGAZINE, Tara Murtha
'...Bellenoit's (orginal composition) "Tria" shows his melodic and textural sensibilities as a composer.'
- JAZZIZ MAGAZINE
'...Bellenoit's electric guitar playing stands out the most, thanks to a concise solo that would have fit in on a great radio hit of the '70s, back when they'd call in the studio pro to lay one down'.
