The Rainbow's Journey is a colorful photography book that takes children on a majestic journey through the cultures and landscapes of South and Southeast Asia.
The book tells the story of a young Rainbow who travels across the world, and to her delight, discovers her own colors wherever she goes.The book uses vivid photography and rhyming poetry to explore a continent saturated in cultural and spiritual beauty, and teaches that we all share the colors of the rainbow.
Our trial printing was a huge success -- children and adults of all ages loved it!! We are now looking to raise the money to do a wide-scale release, and to begin sharing the book with children everywhere!
We are ready to launch into production immediately. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $6500 to help cover production and distribution of 1,000 books -- once we finish the first printing, the project will become self-sustaining. If we can exceed the $6500 mark, we'll be able to fund a larger first printing and share the book with an even wider community of readers.
We are so grateful for your help getting this off the ground! As a teacher, I have been amazed at the book's power to inspire children to learn about other parts of the world. I am so excited for you to see the final version of The Rainbow's Journey, and to share this book with children across the globe!
