Face Full of Dollars is a short film shot by the fine students at New Mexico State University's Creative Media Institute. The film is shot, edited, re-edited... and re-re-edited, and is ready to be submitted to film festivals across the country. We feel we have a fun and interesting project and really want to do our best to show it to the rest of the world.

With the funds raised by our Kickstarter campaign, Face Full of Dollars will finally be able to reach an audience outside the director's living room. This money will cover film festival submissions, DVD reproduction costs, and promotional material costs. Our production is already paid for, so we are able to use a significant portion of donations to subsidize our rewards, directly giving back to those who are willing to give to us. 

As our first experience giving life to a script, the producers and director went to great lengths to ensure that things were done right. On the rare occasions when that actually happened, we celebrated. On the occasions when things went awry, we learned.

Working on Face Full of Dollars was an incredible learning experience for the dozens of students involved and it would be great if we could repay everyone's hard work with DVDs and posters. We had a small budget that sustained the cast and crew through shooting, but everyone deserves to see (and touch) a product that they put so much of themselves into.

We have come up with fun and unique rewards for those who contribute to our cause. To top it off, we are shipping rewards out by the holidays and will be gift wrapping DVDs and Blu-ray discs. Also, we will be keeping contributors abreast on Face Full of Dollars festival submissions and other status updates. Because the film is completed, we are able to ship rewards shortly after funds are released to us.

SYNOPSIS:

At nine years old, Lucy thought he could ditch his imaginary friend and grow up on his own. Now a teenager, Lucy finds he has some growing up to do and his old pal Smelly Joe has crashed into his life to usher him into adulthood.
