I've already had a phone call with Paul Fireman who will be managing and directing the short film and he was just as excited as I was knowing that the idea will now become a reality.

Please continue to tell people about the project and there is still time to mail in secrets.

Yesterday, I made a commitment on the PostSecret Blog that I would make a $2,000 donation to VET2VET if we reached our goal before midnight. Well, we reached our goal and then some so I have already made the donation and received back this kind email from Reese Butler that I will share in it's entirety with you here . . .

Through Saturday night, over 60 of you became backers to create a special PostSecret video dedicated to secrets from soldiers, veterans, their friends and families.

In this video, we hope to honor our troops by honestly sharing many of the secrets they have mailed to PostSecret. The secrets might not always reflect what we expect but maybe at the end we will all know and feel something more about the experiences of our military, their families and friends.
