Update #5: Album Recording Rescheduled for Late June
Update #4: Amazing!!!
Dear Fans,
You've done it again! Surprising all of us with your tremendous generosity! Over the course of just 30 days, 579 of you donated $26,063 in total pledges (kickstarter + offline) to help us make our new CD. Simply amazing!
On behalf of the entire Young@Heart Chorus, I'd like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU! and pass along this quick video message from our Director Bob Cilman.
Stay tuned for updates as we get ready to head into the studio.
Thanks again,
Mark Guglielmo

Update #3: For International Backers Only
TO ALL INTERNATIONAL BACKERS:
If you live outside the United States, please add an additional $15 to each pledge of $25 or more to pay for overseas shipping and handling which is much more expensive than domestic shipping.
So please adjust your pledge now as you will not be able to change your pledge amount after our campaign ends this Sunday, November 20 at 11:59PM EST.
Thank you for your amazingly generous donations! We are so very grateful.
Thanks again,
The Young@Heart Chorus
Update #2: Wow!
Wow! Thanks to your amazing generosity, we've cleared $15,000 in pledges!
With 12 days to go, we're up to $16,875 from 411 backers! Incredible.
And the more we're able to raise, the better this project will be including allowing us to now make the album AND with the money we raise over $15,000, to pay for promoting the album once it's released and for possibly hiring a professional record producer as we want this album to reach as many people as possible!
Thank so much for rallying behind us and helping us continue this magical, musical journey.
Sincerely,
The Young@Heart Chorus

I second the comments of Valerie and Barbara! What uplifting news today to realize that when all the fans and supporters pulled together we MADE IT! Special big hugs to Bob Cilman and his team for perpetuating this wonderful experience called Young@Heart for both the chorus and for the fans.

Yay! Yay! Yay! I am so happy you exceeded your goal! If you don't have a professional producer already in mind, might I suggest Outer Green Music in Maine?

Update #1: 18 Days To Go!
Dear Fans,
Thank You for your tremendous generosity! We've raised $6832 from 146 Backers in 2 weeks. A wonderful start. But we still have a long way to go!
We must raise $8,168 before Nov 20 to reach our goal or we don't get to keep a dime!
So please, if you can, share this link via email, facebook, etc with all your friends and family who might be interested in our project. Every little bit helps.
Thanks so much for your continued support!

What started out in 1982 at a Western Massachusetts elderly housing project to joyfully pass the time instead of passing before your time has developed into the stereotype-defying, genre-bending, generation-crossing musical extravaganza better known as The Young@Heart Chorus. Ranging in age from 73-89, these raucous rockers do in retirement what most teenagers fantasize about: tour the globe rocking sold out shows. From TIME to The Daily Show and stars of a hit indie documentary, Young@Heart, this group of spirited seniors continues to wow audiences with their knock-your-socks-off musical celebration that proves it’s “possible to grow old without growing boring” (The Dartmouth).

Congratulations! Can't wait to hear the finished project! You are all so inspiring! I am a singer, too, and hope there is a group such as yours around for me to join when I am eligible!
My husband and I fell in love with Young@Heart after seeing the documentary, and we saw them perform at St. Anne's Warehouse in Brooklyn and thoroughly enjoyed the show
. We treated our children and their spouses to shows in Worcester and Northampton, MA, and all of us expect and look forward to seeing another.
My wife and I love that you are recording! It brings huge smiles to our faces when we hear you sing!
