Everyone wants to be immortalized...This piece consists of 100 different portraits of real people and their stories in their own words

The project will be hung at the B.O.B. in the center of downtown Grand Rapids. http://www.artprize.org/the-bob from September 19 - October 7, 2012.
Hundreds of thousands of people visit Grand Rapids for this annual arts festival. This is YOUR chance to have you and your story immortalized!
I'M LOOKING FOR FACES!
For a $20 donation, YOU can be immortalized in this installation. I am looking for 100 willing participants 18 and over to have their portrait painted and their story told in their own words. If you are brave enough to have your story told, you'll email me a digital photograph of yourself...it doesn't have to be fancy! (no nude photos or inappropriate photos will be accepted). I'll send you a consent form and a short questionnaire.
All portraits will be painted in a modern pop style on an 8x8" canvas. No last names will be posted on the installation.
DO I HAVE YOUR PERMISSION?
By supporting my project with $20 or more, you are giving your consent to have your portrait painted and displayed for the duration of ArtPrize at the B.O.B.
HOW DO I PLEDGE?
- To pledge to my project, just click the green “Back This Project” button on any project page. You will be asked to enter your pledge amount and select a reward. From there, you will go through the Amazon checkout process. Note that you must finish the Amazon checkout process for your pledge to be recorded.

Yes. Depending on the country, but for pledging over $40, I can ship your painting internationally.

Any photo will do as long as it is a digital jpg or tiff file. No fancy professional poses are needed. If you are unsure of a photo, send me 2! Please don't send nude photos or any photos of inappropriate behavior. Thanks!
