About this project
It's never too late to realize your dream. And we are here to help Maria Salandra relive her dream and have a second chance of singing. Maria has a new dance song, "How Deep Can You Go". It is co-written by four-time Grammy Nominated Michael O'Hara. It is being remixed/produced by Grammy Nominated DJ Mike Rizzo. The music video will be co-directed by acclaimed photographer, Joe Oppedisano & award winning director/editor, George Lyter. Both directors have collectively tallied up 6 top ten indie music videos broadcast on MTV/LOGO's NEW NOW NEXT program.... 4 of which reached #1 on their CLICK LIST.
Maria is an amazing vocalist. Our creative team backing her can deliver solid club/remixes and music video of "How Deep" which will platform Maria into the indie digital music world with a product primed and geared to garnering domestic and international attention via promotion at clubs, radios, video broadcast, and online music and video sites.
We realize these are hard times . We are grateful for having a platform such as Kickstarter to assist in funding the minimal production costs. Our goal to reach is $3,000 which will fund the main club/radio mix and music video of "How Deep". How Kickstarter works is you make a financial pledge towards the project. It is a MUST that we reach this goal in 45 days. There are pledge levels and incentives listed on this page for this project. Any funding above our goal with go toward other remixes and dance promotion.

George Lyter is a Grammy nominated lyricist/songwriter turned freelance videographer/editor. His music discography includes covers by such notable names as Donna Summer, Oleta Adams, Jody Watley, CeCe Peniston and more. Segueing into the digi film world, Lyter enrolled in NYU's filmmaking school and came out of it with two short films which garnered several awards in the international Gay & Lesbian film festival circuit. Inspired by the short film genre, he created an iconic gay cable TV series called ADD-TV (which ran for 6 years) and its annual PILL AWARDS, an award show honoring short film and video in the gay community. To date, Lyter has also directed 5 music videos which have been broadcast on MTV's LOGO channel and charted on their competitive CLICK LIST (3 of which were #1).
