Fundraiser to help support my landscape painting residency on the coast of the Mediterranean.
Hello everyone,
I have been painting all of my life and am currently a student at Viriginia Commonwealth University in the MFA program. I have started this kickstarter page to help fund a painting residency this summer in which me and 6 other artists will live in a house for 2 weeks and make landscape paintings of Port Vendres, France. I am very excited about this opportunity and thought I would share it by offering my artworks for sale.
All of the proceeds from sold artwork would go directly to funding travel and purchasing art supplies for the trip in mid May. For me, using the paintings that I will make as a fundraiser is the best way to include people in what I am doing in a real way. The kickstarter site makes it easy to buy one of my paintings via amazon payments and I will send them directly to your house when I get back.
